For West Highland White Terriers and their crosses

Best Westie Trophy 2008 was this year held at Ribbles January show and My Jade won it...sob sob..bless the little sweetheart and the same day she got 3rd place in the 1 to 4 combined Jumping. my Angel.

For 2009 I am going to take the points from the league and the Westie with the highest total will be the Best Westie.

Rules

1.       The Westie Agility  League, is for all West Highland White Terrier and 1st Crosses (only pure breed Westies are eligible for the Best Westie Trophy)

2.       The league will run from 1st January 2008 to 31st December 2009 (inclusive).

3.       There is no annual fee at this time, this may change in the future

4.       No inter-club matches/winter leagues count toward the league. No Pay on Day Classes count towards the league. No Team, Pairs, Braces count towards the league.

5.       In all categories, points for more than one dog cannot be added together.

6.       It is the handlers’ responsibility to send in their points either by post, or email . Points must be submitted within one month from show date.

7.     The league is concerned with the dog’s achievements; therefore you can still claim points even if run by a different handler.

8.     Final results at the end of the year must be received no later than 31st January 2009.

9.    Presentation of the annual awards will be made at TBA

10.  You will continue in the grade that you started in, ie if you started at grade 1 on 1st January 2008 you will stay in that section until 1st January 2009

11.  All points will be awarded according nice simple rules, 1st = 11 points, 10th = 2 points, all clear rounds = 1 point, I think with us being a small league lets keep it nice and      simple

just a note if you have a clear round but have time faults the clear round still stands for the Westie league I know from experience that some times for courses are a bit tight for out little ones epecially when they start out,

12. Your dog can be listed on the league at any age, but must be 18 months old before points will be awarded
