Shows we've been to

Where we've been

Well we have our Trailer Tent packed and ready for action we have a full schedule already and are really excited, don't think I have enjoyed going out an about this much since I was a child going on holiday. I wish Belle was here to enjoy this as well but I know that she is watching and cheering for Jade.

One other point to mention, This is my first year competing but I would like to say thank to everyone who works hard to put all the shows on, not only to the Judges and ring parties who are out there no matter what the weather but all the people in the back ground I appreciate it and so do Jade and Opal, its lovely having exercise areas for them that I let them run loose in.

Well since Jade started competing in September 2005 we have been to

Ribble 17th September 2005

Wrexham 24th September 2005

Lune Valley 1st October 2005

Newton Heath 19th November 2005

Ribble 21st January 2006

Newton Heath 18th February 2006

Chippenham 19th March 2006, where we got our very first rosette which was for a clear round, my precious baby.

Wye Valley 1st April 2006 and a very special day as Jade was placed 6th in Starters Small Jumping, her first time placed and only her 8th show I am so proud of her, proud of myself as usually I am the one making mistakes.

Dashin Dogs Easter weekend, we had a grand time and a lot of fun, Thanks for the Judges Special I always new Jade was special but she was on a complete go slow, on the slow rounds she went clear except for time, but then when you are basically walking the course as my little girl was what do you expect. I think she was thinking "excuse me, middle of the day here I should be fast asleep in bed" but she enjoyed herself, we had to miss our first elementary run on the Monday because noway was I going to let her run in that ran. Yes I do pamper her but if she had slipped with her bad leg..Ouch! doesn't bare thinking about. Shame that the weather forecasters got it wrong again they said it would be nice weather all weekend they were wrong. However it did not stop us having a brill time and throughly enjoying ourselves and I can not wait until next year. Would love to do the Summer one but its a bit near my hols to Disney but hopefully will squeeze the weekend in.

Shrewsbury 29th and 30th April Another lovely weekend just wished we had been able to camping but camping had closed before I knew what I was doing and Opal came into season so we could not have camped anyway. Jade as usually was out of time but she's starting to get used to shows I think.

But even with all our faults we stilled enjoyed ourselves and are going to make sure we get in the camping next year. Thanks everyone at Shrewsbury and I will give you pre warning that you will have the slow ones me and Jade and my little rocket Opal will be old enough next year, looking forward to it.

Worcester 20th May, A lovely day despite the weather, I think Jade is starting to get used to shows now, the main thing she loves is the excercise area where she can run off the lead, cheeky monkey.

Nottingham 27th & 28th May, Rain go away, well it did unfortunately with a stonking head cold I was not able to run myself, we did one run on Saturday where Jade started running at a brill pace for her then we went the wrong direction because I had lost my voice and she could not hear me, after that I think she just thought lets see how many jumps we can knock down, she is getting so cheeky. On the Sunday I was not going to do any runs as I was feeling horrible but the course laid out for Small Open Jumping by Clive Foden was just too irresitable, how I love that course, and Jade adored it, we were out of time 67.? seconds but she only faulted at the weaves and she had so much fun it was the best course ever so many many thanks Mr Foden, we look forward to more of your courses.

PADS 3rd & 4th June

Thank you everyone, lovely weather, lovely courses especially Starters, Jade is starting to get faster on ocassion now, its the extremes of weather gets her, and naughty Jade tried to become an escape artist, heard a dog barking and shot out under the awning and was gone before I could even unzip the door, and she tries to tell me she can not run...yeah right Jade mummy knows different. Many thanks to the nice gentleman who was in the next field where Jade was, she could hear me call but could not work out how to get throught the hedge back to me, the gent very kindly watched Jade and tried to lead her to the opening, please Jade no more heart attacks.

Anyway we had a grand time and look forward to more.

Wyre 10th & 11th June

Wow what hot weather, I melted so did Jade, Opal was not affected that big coat of hers keeps her well insulated. Thank you all for arranging the ice-cream van I don't normally eat ice-cream but I needed it, also lovely food from Mr T's Roasties yet again, lovely toilet facilities, my only problem was my hangover but Thanks for that go the Jackie and Mike... you know who you are ;-) yeah I know I did not have to drink it but its seems that I am susceptable to the alcohol side of agility but I am swearing off for a bit especally this hot weather Jade does not do lack of sleep at night and Mummy wakes her up when she gets in. Also mummy can not function the next day, but I certainly enjoyed myself. Jade did not get anywhere but what the hell she is always cute when she runs. The funniest bit was the long jump as it was at its fullest extent for the small dogs, but with Jades hip she can not clear it, but she tried the first two runs hitting the back piece with a clank, but then the third run was hilarious, she was trotting around nicely got the the long jump stopped dead right in front, she was dead centre, looked at the long jump looked up and me, looked to the side, I said go on then and she trotted around the edge and carried on to finish the course nice and cleanly, well if she does not want to do it, its her choice, but I was peeing myself laughing. It is situation like that that I would like to thank Judges for letting us finish the course even when we have been eliminated.

Thanks everyone.
